Peloponnese Review and Giveaway

I was so excited to open up the box of Peloponnese Greek foods! I was having a get together with some friends, and was happy to serve up some natural products that are incredibly party friendly!

I paired up each of these with some all natural sea salt tortilla chips and away we sampled!

The favourite was the hummus! It had a bit of a tangy taste to it, but it was smooth and enjoyable. You also can't beat that it is a healthy alternative to most dips! This one is high fiber and made with healthy olive oil.

The other favourite was the roasted red peppers! Super versatile too! I put them on toast with goat cheese and grilled zucchini! Yum! I would also imagine that this would be awesome on a pizza too!

For more information on these great products click here

I was happy to sample these products and I am also happy to share the love with you! Peloponnese is offering the same items for you to win! Enter the contest below! Good luck!

Hiya! Do you worry about sodium content of processed foods? How are these? Also do you think nursing mom's need more sodium in there diet?

Hi Nat,
Thanks for your comment!Sodium is generally on the high level for most processed foods. I eat it in moderation. I think that sodium levels still need to be watched even for nursing moms. Sodium sneaks up in so many foods. What do you think?

So I'm not sure of the numbers exactly but when I was eating really clean (Cooler 1) from the Tosca Reno books, (and supplementing with extra fats) I noticed my milk supply decreased, since I've upped my content (mostly I'm still clean but I do now add some sea salt occasionally)I am retaining more water thus I have more milk available. I still rarely eat processed food because yikes so much hidden sodium. I think I need about 2500mg anything less than 1500mg and my supply is affected. Mind you I am aware that even a couple of eggs naturally have a couple hundred mg so it is in everything!!!

I agree with you. I noticed my milk supply dramatically decrease when I was trying to eat too little! I tried Cooler 1 and its just not enough for my body. Your body definitely requires more calories and water is key! I drink so much water! In fact I laugh at how many times I refill my bottle!
